A winning formula from Manor Farm Stud
The emphasis on speed is clear to see in the produce from Manor Farm Stud in the small village of Braunston, in Rutland. The Watson Family have maintained a steady stream of speedy winners from their boutique operation at Manor Farm, most of whom are descended from Penny Pincher, dam of Clantime and ancestress of Group 1 winners Jwala and Airwave. Such horses as Jwala, Airwave, Clantime, Orientor, Mood Music, Orient and Atraf have taken their first steps at the Watsons' Manor Farm Stud before going on to greatly enhance the sprinting division.
The Stud is set in 100 acres of first class old grassland surrounded by the idyllic, peaceful Rutland countryside. An ideal setting to nurture youngstock, enabling them to achieve their best in the future. Manor Farm is perfectly situated for walking mares into most stallions and for the major British sales being just over an hour from both Newmarket and Doncaster. What has predominately been a private stud has plans for expansion, already having built new stables, and will be taking more mares and followers for boarding.
