Welcome to Rutland Thoroughbred Racing
In 2009 Manor Farm Stud announced the launch of the Rutland Thoroughbred Racing Club. This is an exclusive racing club offering the opportunity for 10 people to enjoy the thrills of owning a flat thoroughbred racehorse in training in Newmarket, without excessive fees. The Club aims to bring together like minded local people to enjoy the fruits of the Rutland countryside.
There will be 10 equal shares and each share holder will be allocated a badge every time the horse runs.
Regular updates on the progress will be given by phone and / or email and an update given on this website. Visits to the stud, training yard and Newmarket gallops will be arranged to view the club horse and other stock. An inaugural dinner, mid season BBQ and end of season dinner will be arranged for shareholders. Prizemoney* and unused funds will be split between the shareholders at the end of season dinner where the statements may be viewed on request.
The first partnership was well received and is now wrapped up however we often have horses available in training should anyone be interested in leasing a horse for a second partnership.
